Service Scope or Mission

Planning and providing the members with industry market and technical information exchanging opportunities.
Integrating members' opinions to serve as the reference for government units in the formulation of the relevant laws and regulations, as well as act as contact window with the relevant units.
Coordinate member factory, R & D and academic institutions to plan and promote related personnel training, manufacturing process technology, and management efficiency improvement plan.
Collect light metal market and technical information home and abroad to provide members with operation and decision analysis through the Internet.
Planning and integration of member factory to develop niche products, jointly expanding international markets.
Establish contact and cooperation relations with the relevant organizations of international light metal, bring about the globalization of the Taiwan light metal industry.
Publication and distribution magazine, journal and the related light metal books.
Handling the suggested items from members that board of directors considers the suggested items will benefit the members.
Assist members to proactively expand economic development: organize various international trade fairs and international economic meetings, form the delegation abroad or invite foreign trade organizations to Taiwan for expanding business opportunities, coordinate with government policy to facilitate trade promotion.

Purpose

Promote the development of aluminum, magnesium, titanium and other light metals industries as well as facilitate upgrading of the related technologies.
